One of the most iconic restaurants in Southern Indiana is Nick’s English Hut in Bloomington. Located on Kirkwood Avenue on the Indiana University Bloomington campus, Nick’s offers delicious pub-style food in a school spirit environment. The walls are covered with Indiana University history, so there is something new to learn every time you visit. Although you can’t go wrong with any choice on the menu, we highly recommend the Bizz Fries. Are you looking for a fun way to spend the evening? Ask your waiter how you can play “Sink the Bizz” during dinner!
Another popular spot in Southern Indiana is Big Woods Brewing Company in Nashville. Best known for their home-brewed beer, Big Woods Brewing Company always has at least six varieties on tap. Their Busted Knuckle Ale is immensely popular and is described as a lighter brew. Just as they offer a variety of brews, their menu is full of delicious options. They smoke their own barbeque and have their own special rub for their burgers. Be sure to save room for dessert and try out the stout-on-tap float. They offer a relaxing environment, and visitors will enjoy listening to live music while enjoying their meal!
