Visit Indiana Golf is highlighting the best 18 golf holes from 18 different public golf courses across the Hoosier State. Hole 9 on Indiana’s Signature 18 resides at Bear Slide Golf Club in Cicero, Indiana. Cicero is a town in Hamilton County, located northwest of Indianapolis.
Ranked the 14th Best Golf Course in the United States by Golf Advisor in 2018, Bear Slide Golf Club is one of Indiana’s premier public golf courses. The course offers a Scottish links-style front nine and a traditional style back nine. Bear Slide Creek meanders through the back nine fairways and the course features stunning elevation changes throughout. Golf Digest has given Bear Slide a “4.5 Star” rating and included the course among the 9 best courses in the state of Indiana.
Enjoy the 9th hole at one of Indiana’s Top 9 Courses, Bear Slide! This hole is a dogleg right par 4 with a menacing water hazard on your tee shot. Stick to the left side of the fairway on your drive and leave yourself a mid-iron approach into a generally flat green. With two solid shots, you might be able to slip one more birdie in before the back 9. However, a par here is a great score!
Be sure to properly social distance when hitting the links and follow all course protocols by calling ahead. For more information on this, click here.
