The Indiana courses in the top 25 are listed below, along with a sampling of what Golf Advisor users had to say about them.

1. The Fort Golf Resort – Indianapolis
One of seven courses on the Pete Dye Golf Trail, The Fort took the top spot on Golf Advisor’s list. Pete Dye took this 238-acre natural setting and created an 18-hole championship layout that is both beautiful and challenging. Located within Fort Harrison State Park, the 7,148-yard, par 72 design features tree-lined fairways, rolling hills, and the Dye trademark undulating greens. One reviewer said, “The Fort is my favorite layout in Indianapolis. I love the rustic feel and the state park being all around you. I like seeing wild life on the course that you generally don’t see in the rest of town. Learn more about The Fort.
